Pourquoi « Le Coude »? C'est l’un des noms originaux de la ville de Moncton, en raison de sa localisation dans l’angle de la rivière Petitcodiac. Ce nom a changé après la déportation des Acadiens de la région à The Bend, puis à Monckton, en l’honneur du général du même nom. En 1876, le nom de la ville fut mal orthographié sur un document officiel et depuis, la ville s’appelle Moncton. Nous nous rapproprions le (vrai) nom de Moncton!
