Camp Centennial

Camp Centennial

811 St. George St, Moncton , NB
The Centennial Outdoor Inc. and Camp Centennial are an accredited day camp situated in Moncton’s Centennial Park. Our programs welcome more than 1000 campers every summer. Week long programs running from 8:30 – 4:15 Monday through Friday offer each and every camper a unique learning experience and a guaranteed memorable time. Our mission is to provide an active dynamic camp program that focuses on learning new skills, making new friends, developing attributes of leadership and outdoorsmanship all the while in a safe and active environment. Our days are packed full, and we put a strong focus on staying active and outdoors as much as possible. Because of this we ask that each Camper bring along with their towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, insect repellent, a lunch (with snacks) and a beverage. Our highly trained staff and directors promote a “Yes You Can” attitude. These active days can often get a little messy, so we encourage campers to be dressed in appropriate clothing. We are excited to usher in a whole new camp program this year at Centennial. For those of you who are returning you’ll notice our age groupings have changed. But don’t you worry every Thursday night we still invite all campers’ families, friends and folks from the community out to our weekly Campfire. Come join us for a great time. We look forward to this summer and hope to see you there!

A BIA is a geographically defined urban area containing primarily non-residential properties. The BIA concept allows businesses and property owners to work cooperatively to manage downtown as a resource and business destination. Promotional campaigns, beautification, government lobbying, cooperative advertising, clean and safe programs, and parking and transportation issues are some of the areas of concern that a BIA organization may deal with.
St. Pats Family Centre

St. Pats Family Centre

34 Providence St, Moncton , NB
It is not merely coincidence that St. Patrick’s Family Centre is located on providence Street. No other street name could capture the essence of this Moncton North jewel. Providence can be described as the prudence and care exercised by someone in the management of resources. What greater resource is there buy our families and St. Pats’s has been serving families and the community since 1964. St. Pat’s influence extends far beyond the neighbourhood it resides within. Many of the lifeguards in the Greater Moncton area and beyond were trained there. So when you see the lifeguards at Parlee Beach or at Magic Mountain or at any of a number of other swimming pools in and around the city, please remember how St. Pat’s affects our communities by keeping our families safe in the water. The Mission Statement at St. Pat’s is taken very seriously: To provide a friendly, save and family oriented environment that present leadership, recreational and social activities for an active and healthy lifestyle. This lifestyle is promoted in the young and old alike. By instilling activity in our youth they have greatly increased the chances of them continuing a healthy lifestyle and passing those good habits on to their own children. We want to continue playing a part in the wellness of our future generation.
