I am a Toronto metalsmith and enamellist specializing in enamel jewellery, bowls and art. Enamelling is firing very finely ground glass (vitreous enamel) onto a metal base at approximately 1500 degrees. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using vinegar and salt for cleaning metal instead of chemicals. I also offer one day enamelling workshops. Enamelling is a relatively simple craft to learn but once you know the basics the possibilities are unlimited! Private classes are available at no extra charge.
