In 1961, on a shoestring budget of just $800, Dolly Lloyd opened "Professional Answering Service" (now AnswerPlus), in a 9x9 room in downtown Hamilton. Having invested everything she had, Dolly had no choice but to staff the operation totally on her own, and so it was that this tiny office became her home for the next six months, until she was able to hire her first operator. She all all the necessities: a bed, a cooler, a single burner hot plate, her potty, and of course, her switchboard. What Dolly lacked in financial resources, she more than made up for with her sparkling telephone personality, and the unparalleled service she provided to her callers. Dolly's approach to her business was unconventional but it worked. She recognized that in order to provide the best service to her customers, she had to put her operators first (the voices of her customers), her customers' callers second (the judges of her success), and her own customers third! As AnswerPlus does to this day, Dolly's goal was to make every caller feel like it was their one phone call that made her day, so it was only natural that as she began hiring, Dolly only hired people with great voices and outstanding telephone personalities. Today, that goal stands as the foundation of AnswerPlus. Dolly passed away in 1972, but her son Paul continues to operate AnswerPlus with the same guiding principles as his mother before him. Since then, the company has expanded to serve customers across North America. Ashton Price, hailing from Toronto Ontario, is an established, composer, producer, and engineer, with his production company, Morph Productions. In his fifteen years in the music industry, after graduating from Fanshawe College's acclaimed Music Industry Arts program, he has made a name for himself with his quality productions Morph Productions caters to a variety of musicians including rock, pop hip hop and singer songwriters. It is a full service operation using many of Ashton's talents including being a session musician, beat creator, and songwriter on top of engineering and producing. Artist he has worked with landed him a publishing deal with Sony Canada. He has also done work for Sony/Epic U.S.A., Linus Entertainment/Universal, and Sextant/EMI. Branching out into music licensing, half away around the world, his compositions can be heard in the successful Malaysian TV shows "Ghost" and "10". He also co-wrote the theme song to the Speed Network's internationally aired "Sports Car Revolution." Several songs he also co-wrote have been licensed to the hit Canadian show, "Zoe Busiek: Wild Card" and international phenomenon "Degrassi: The Next Generation." Video game music licensing is the next big thing and Ashton has already tapped into its potential with one of his songs being used in the XBOX 360 game created by BugBear, "Flatout-Ultimate Carnage. He was also the writer of music and sound effects for an online video game by Bodog/Fiver Media. Ashton continues to write his own music, as well as write for and with other exciting artists covering the spectrum of rock, pop and hip-hop music.
