Newbridge Academy is operated under the governance of the Newbridge Foundation, a not-for-profit federally registered organization managed by a Board of Governors made up of parents of current students, staff and the Headmaster. Upon enrollment in Newbridge Academy, parents automatically become members of the Newbridge Foundation. Newbridge Academy opened in September of 2007 and is dedicated to preparing highly motivated students through a comprehensive, customized educational program, which emphasizes both academics and athletics. Under the guidance of an exemplary faculty of educators, Newbridge Academy provides students with opportunities to achieve their full potential through programs that engage, stimulate and nurture. It is our pleasure to be a part of your experience at Newbridge Academy! We encourage you to speak with our school administration if you have any questions or would like a tour of our facility. Newbridge Academy is located in the Sackville Sport Stadium and its impressive facilities giving the ability to expand to unlimited potential. The Sackville Sport Stadium not only has state of the art indoor sport facilities, but within walking distance to NBA is an 8 lane - 400m track field, a lake for paddling/swimming, and several kilometers of wooded trails for cross country cross-training and hiking.

Located on the Old Oland Family farm property, since 1981, families of Sackville and the surrounding communities have come to know Oakridge Memory Gardens and its solid reputation for caring, professional guidance. Perched upon the highest point in Halifax County, visitors are provided with a commanding view overlooking 70 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens dotted with mature trees, benches and as far off as the Halifax International Airport, 50 kilometres away. Within the property, sits a lovely stone masonry chapel adorned with interior and glass front niches. Oakridge has a peaceful and natural atmosphere for loved ones to gather and reminisce in any season. Adjacent to Oakridge is Lindwood, a private cemetery owned by the Oland family. Brewers by profession, the Oland family built the Blue Nose II. Within Lindwood grounds sits a beautiful mausoleum with chapel ornamented with charming stained glass windows.
