Welcome to Buchanans Music Centre! Owned and operated by local musicians, Paul & Eilidh Buchanan, we are a music education centre and retail store. We have four private instruction rooms, and currently have ten teachers that give individual lessons in fiddle, violin, piano, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, drums, bodhran, ukulele, voice, banjo, trombone, clarinet, saxophone and flute. The New-Found Guest House is located approximately 45 minutes from Halifax - Nova Scotia's capital, 5 minutes from scenic Mahone Bay and 10 minutes from historic Lunenburg - home of the Bluenose. This completely renovated loft suite is a fully-equipped, self-contained unit. It has two double beds, a writing desk, a sofa, a rocker recliner and satellite television with a DVD player in the loft area. On the main level, there is a separate four-piece bathroom, a bright sitting area with a sofa and several chairs and a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and range. There is also a private deck with lounge chairs and a propane BBQ.

Jean Marc Riant, owner and baker at Boulangerie La Vendeenne, has been baking bread for Nova Scotia since moving here from Montreal in 1997. The Bakery is located, on the South Shore, just outside Mahone Bay, where he produces his beautiful French European style breads and pastries.
