Hatha yoga has a methodical pace between poses which is great for a beginner, however intermediate and advanced students can reach their edge by holding poses deeper and longer. Yoga relieves stress and promotes a deeper relaxation while still providing physical exercise. My yoga journey started 5 years ago. After my first 5 minutes on the mat in a calm room filled with beautiful souls (Thank You to "All Yoga" in Dartmouth, NS), I knew yoga was much more than moving and stretching my body! At this time, I could be found every day after work at the gym, however I knew yoga provided me with what my body required. After welcoming 2 beautiful girls into my life, completing a Masters of Nursing and turning 40, I felt the need to share with others what yoga has done for me on my journey over the past 5 years!! I am near completion (December) of a 200 hour yoga teacher training program at Shakti Yoga and am grateful for all the teachers I have met on this journey!

Ocean Quest is an award winning adventure resort and commercial service facility in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. We offer SCUBA Charters and training, Adventure expeditions, Whale and Iceberg Tours, Scenic Bus Tours and BBQ Cruises. On site we have a 5 room B & B, a retail shop, indoor swimming pool, and a 5 Star National Geographic PADI Training Centre with full SCUBA equipment rentals. We have expanded our adventures across the island to include OQ Close Encounters where we offer kayak and boat tours in Twillingate. In the last few years, in addition to the new location in Twillingate, we have launched a new vessel, the Ocean Quest Mermaid, which runs cultural tours partnering up with Manual’s River, and corporate events in Conception Bay for large groups up to 45 passengers. In Petty Harbor we have our Close Encounter with Humpback Whales tours which are a snorkeling tour on one of our certified vessels throughout the end of June to the beginning of August.

We are a home business based out of Conception Bay South NL. All of my designs are homemade and I design them at home. Diaper Cakes, Table toppers, Favors small gifts for that special new baby or mommy to be.
