The Bradner Community Club was established in 1924 and was chartered under the Societies Act as a non-profit organization. The present hall was erected by local volunteers in 1900. The hall has been the home of the renowned Bradner Flower Show since 1932. The Hall is patronized by local organizations such as 4-H clubs, a fitness group, local sports teams and various other entities. This facility is also available for catered functions year-round and has a capacity of up to 350.

In addition to the Kariton Gallery, the Abbotsford Arts Council produces a number of successful events to showcase local artists such as the Envision Coffee House Concert Series & Concert in the Park Series, Arty Awards, and the Christmas Artisan Gift Fair. Artists, and those interested in the arts in Abbotsford, should check out the Resource Centre in the Kariton Gallery, home to member group information, auditions, job postings and volunteer opportunities. About the Kariton Art Gallery & Boutique Located in Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford, British Columbia, the Kariton Art Gallery is an initiative of the Abbotsford Arts Council, providing a resource for local artists to exhibit and sell their work. The gallery features ten exhibitions a year that showcase the works of over 100 local artists, ranging from emerging to professional. The gallery also has a boutique gift shop where the work of local artisans can be purchased year-round. Often referred to as “the little red house on Mill Lake,” nearly 12,000 people visited the gallery in 2012. The Abbotsford Arts Council has operated the Kariton Art Gallery since 1995 and has showcased over 3,000 artists during this time. All of the exhibitions at the Kariton Gallery are juried. Admission to the gallery is free, thanks to the financial support of the City of Abbotsford, B.C. Arts Council, and the Province of B.C.
