I've been interested in photography for a long time. My first exposure to photography was back in high school in the days of film (yes, film!) I spent countless hours back then in the darkroom honing my skills. We worked primarily with B&W negatives and dabbled a bit with colour slides. These days all my work is done with a digital camera and computer, although I try to spend as little time as possible in post-production. I really don't enjoy that part of it as much as I do getting out there and just shooting. My strengths are B&W and composition and I'm a pretty good critic. Things I am working on are learning to edit down to showing just the very best photos and the very important command of lighting.
