Harvey began his career manufacturing stainless steel products in 1977. After twenty years, he took over the business which became known as Bordertownman Manufacturing Services Limited for thirteen years. Due to health reasons, he was forced to slow down and made the decision to sell the business and created Harvey’s Metal Art as a hobby. Harvey's Metal Art has gone as far away as London, England, out West, the Yukon, Cape Breton, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Harvey designs, cuts, bends and rolls most of his Metal Art pieces. He does custom work, such as welcome signs, house number signs, business signs, lawn art such as sunflowers, garden signs, firepits, windspinners with hummingbirds and lighthouses, silhouettes of animals; garden gates, interior and exterior balcony panels and railing panels and more. Harvey designed the sign for Buds to Blossoms, Home Hardware, and Piggly Wiggly’s.|
