Blasted Glass - Yellowknife Custom Glass & Mirror Art
I was born in Edmonton, AB and at 9 years old was given the opportunity to move to Yellowknife with my father who managed a glass company. When we arrived in Yellowknife we moved into an apartment above the glass shop which is where my interest in glass art started.
With unlimited access to scrap glass and mirror my dad was able to teach me the basics of glass art. In time I learned different techniques and tricks of the trade from the staff.
Throughout the years I’ve created my own methods to design truly unique pieces.
Glass Art has always been a hobby of mine that I’m now pursuing further.
Although I can work with a variety of mediums, my focus is on 'SANDBLASTING' glass and mirrors. I use compressed air and sand to create truly amazing pieces of dimension and harmony.
It is an intricate process of shading, shadowing and layers to create and define a piece.

Fees are determined by considering the artwork preparation, complexity and size of the design, type of glass, total pieces, and the delivery timeline.
