Expert knitters will find beautiful, fine-quality materials at DY. Come for inspiration. Still building your skills? We are always happy to help if you have a moment of doubt in your project. We are also here to talk through your project plans with you and make sure you find the perfect yarn for a fantastic project. If you haven’t caught the knitting bug yet, what are you waiting for? Let’s face it, it’s always sweater weather in Nova Scotia…warm wool sweaters or light cotton sweaters, thick turtle necks or lacy vests or shells. If a huge sweater for your uncle requires too much commitment, don’t despair. We have ideas and patterns for quick and easy projects, like hats, scarves (some great ruffley, sparkley scarves), mitts, & felted coasters. We will have classes and workshops—in knitting and other fibre crafts—to help you get started.
We are proud to be located in the heart of friendly downtown Dartmouth. You will find us conveniently located right across from the main Dartmouth post office, at the corner of Queen and Wentworth. There is plenty of free and metered curbside parking right in front of the store.
